Despite the pushback, Adidas will retain this oversized stripe template through at least the 27-28 campaign.

Shared across the brand's social channels with the tagline "we are so back – new season, new chaos, same love for the game," the promotional shoot gathers standout players from European heavyweights and top American clubs against a bold pink studio backdrop.

The star-studded visual highlights key brand ambassadors including Jude Bellingham (Real Madrid), Declan Rice (Arsenal), and Lionel Messi (Inter Miami) seated at the front alongside Bayern Munich. They are joined by players representing Manchester United, Liverpool, Juventus, and Newcastle United, as well as European and South American powerhouses such as AS Roma, Aston Villa, Ajax, Benfica, Lyon, Fenerbahce, Flamengo, Boca Juniors, River Plate, and Club América.

Featuring a mix of traditional colorways, bespoke patterns, and the brand's latest 2026-27 design templates, the united showcase underlines the German sportswear giant's extensive elite portfolio heading into the new season. All of the 26-27 home jerseys featured in the campaign are now rolling out through official Adidas channels and club retail stores worldwide.

Marcus Rashford is set to wear a new squad number upon his return to Manchester United for the 26-27 season. With Matheus Cunha currently occupying the club's number 10 jersey, the forward has been assigned the vacant number 14 shirt.

Based on images from Manchester United's recent posts, it appears that the Starball and UEFA Foundation sleeve patches for the 26-27 UEFA Champions League might be moving away from the traditional velvet material. Instead, they seem to feature a noticeably thinner and flatter composition.

Without high-resolution close-ups, the exact material specifications cannot be fully confirmed just yet.

With their deal with DXC Technology expiring in June 2026 and no replacement yet, the Red Devils left their left sleeve blank, requiring them to display the patches on both sides as per Premier League regulations.
